My goings on for the year...I'm a little late in posting...

This is Terri, she came up to visit me for my birthday, and we went to eat at Bonefish!!! Very good! Afterward we went shopping and to Germantown MetroPark.
Yay!!!! Water in the creek at Germantown MetroPark. Sorry, last year there was hardly any water in this creek and I am excited that there is finally some there! Crazy I know. LOL

This is the girls and Candice on mine and Gracey's Birthday Day.

John and I went to Lexington to see Brandi and she took us to this really cool library. It sounds crazy but if you know me you know I love, love, love, love books and this was really awesome!!!

This is a giant pendulum at the library.

John and Brandi looking at books. It actually looks like Brandi is singing!!! LOL

This is my birthday party at mom's. This is sis looking very interested in whatever is being done or said.

Its Been too long since I last posted...

Well my job is almost over. Just under four months to go and I will be gone from there! I can't wait, but at the same time I am terrified that I will not know what to do after that. I have been there almost nine years now, it will be hard to leave, but I am so sick and tired from that place that I almost can't function on a daily basis anymore. I am literally sick all the time, headaches, body aches, and blurry eyes. The women that I work with are just too much for me to handle anymore. A few, very few, don't really bother me, but for the most part the rest are just ridiculous. The drama is a constant thing in my department as are the head games they play. They love to create problems and watch people have meltdowns.
Anyway, on to happier times. I will be attending Wittenberg University this fall and I am so excited!!!!! I can't wait to go to college with people that are actually interested in learning. To many people in my Community College are just there to be there. No real drive from a lot of them. Hardly any of them are interested in Science like I am, so it will be a plus to move on to a four year with people with the same degree in mind.
On the other hand, Daryl still has not found a job yet. I will have to think about a part-time job that will be able to help out if he doesn't get one by the time I go to Witt. My plan, if he gets a job, is to take a few months off from working so I can acclimate myself to the University.
